Donna Webb Bio:
Licensed dietitian, certified diabetes care and education specialist, for over 25 years. She has worked in all aspects of nutrition care and management in hospitals, nursing homes and group and individual nutrition counseling. According to her traditional nutrition education, she believed and taught that fat was bad in all forms, and all efforts should be made to eliminate fat from the diet. She was a good soldier. Then, around 8 years ago, she was at a dietitian meeting in Springfield, and the message at that meeting was: You know, fat might not be as bad as we thought, and sugar might be a whole lot worse than we thought. She was knocked off her horse, personally and professionally distraught. But, she took a pause, and decided to dig into the research for herself. She now teaches research based, whole foods nutrition, food that are super delicious, super nutritious and super simple. She has more joy now in helping people than any other time in her career. Donna is now the owner of Bright Sky Nutrition, and currently has 4 dietitians in her practice helping her teach people how to curb the epidemic of dysmetabolism growing daily in our country.
