Transforming Online Teaching in Higher Education Virtual Book Talk

Join authors Dr. Steven Goss, Dr. Robin Hummel, and Laura Zadoff in discussing their book, Transforming Online Teaching in Higher Education: Essential Practices for Engagement, Equity, and Inquiry. Drawing on their years of experience leading online classrooms in higher education, they present a transformative approach to teaching and learning online. The authors are to be joined by faculty from their respective institutions (NYU School of Professional Studies and Bank Street Graduate School of Education), who provided examples of practice that shaped their work. Opening remarks by Dean Angie Kamath. If you are a new instructor seeking valuable practices for your online classroom, or you are an experienced online educator looking to deepen your existing practices, the topics discussed in this book talk will offer ideas for strengthening your students’ online experience and creating online classrooms that build community and enhance learning.
