Advising Students on Academic Probation

Students on academic probation have increased advising needs. In this session you’ll learn about OTC’s academic standing policy, the multiple impacts of a student’s grade point average, and assisting your advisees in developing achievable education plans. At the end of this session, you’ll be prepared for the next time an advisee says “I need released from academic probation.”
