FERPA Training Workshop

FreeDo you interact with students in your job or have access to student records? If you do, then this session is for you! Student information and records are protected by FERPA (Family Education Rights and Privacy Act), but what does that mean for OTC faculty and Staff?
This workshop will go over the basics of FERPA and will provide practical tips for how you can continue to support our students without violating FERPA laws. We will talk about the rights of students, parents, and your rights as an employee, and will provide some updates on new ways students can grant others access to their record.
