Preventing Veteran Suicide and Promoting Mental Health

Every year on November 11, we make great efforts to show out veterans that we care. But what else can we do after Veterans Day? In this presentation, JoAnn Morrison and Jenny Gano, Suicide Prevention Coordinators for Veterans Affairs (VA), will discuss veteran suicide and what you can do to reach out and help a veteran. This presentation will also feature OTC Counseling Services discussing their role in veteran mental health on campus, and Veterans Upward Bound to discuss their services and upcoming opportunities.
