Session Description: Approximately 1 out of every 2 people will experience trauma in their lifetime. As such, trauma could profoundly impact nearly 50% of your students. This session will review physiological changes that can occur during and after a traumatic event. It will also cover how trauma may present in an academic setting, and how you can best respond to trauma or disclosures when working with students.
