Inclusive, equitable, effective instruction is essential to delivering higher education’s goal of ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.
Join the discussion with the American Council on Education (ACE) and the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) at this complimentary webinar on our collective responsibility to create a more equitable and just learning environment for all students.
Topics Include
- Managing the impact of bias
- Reducing micro-aggressions in learning environments
- Addressing imposter phenomenon and stereotype threat
- Creating inclusive learning environments
- Designing equity-centered courses
ACE President Ted Mitchell will host the discussion, which will be facilitated by Adrianna Kezar, Director of the Pullias Center for Higher Education at the University of Southern California (USC). The panel will draw insights from ACE’s newest research, “Shared Equity Leadership: Making Equity Everyone’s Work,” published in collaboration with the Pullias Center for Higher Education at USC, and will also explore ACUE’s research-based program in inclusive teaching for equitable learning. Attendees will be invited to ask questions.
In collaboration with our institutional partners, ACUE offers shorter, microcredential options in effective teaching practices and effective online teaching practices.
