Virtual Bystander Intervention Training

October 20 AND 21, 12-2:30 pm
Please join us for the virtual Green Dot Bystander Intervention Training on October 20, 12-2:30 pm AND October 21, 12-2:30. You must attend BOTH sessions to receive certification in the nationwide program.
Green Dot is a bystander education approach that aims to prevent violence by teaching people how to intervene in situations that might be harmful. The belief is that by engaging in green dots (positive bystander behaviors) we can reduce red dots (harmful behaviors).
The Bystander Intervention Training is a space for students, faculty and staff to learn together through alternating components of brief lectures, individual reflections, and small group interactions.
This year, there will also be a drawing for a $500 scholarship for students who complete the Bystander Intervention Certification Training and meet college requirements!!
