Are you a faculty or staff member with assigned advisees? Do you feel a bit nervous each time you receive an advising request? Attend a one-on-one session designed to build your confidence as an advisor! Your session will be customized to whatever advising needs you have. Financial aid plays a big part in advising students. This session will address advisee questions such as:
• What financial aid opportunities are available?
• Where can I go to learn more about my financial aid file?
• Do I need to be enrolled full-time to earn financial aid?
• How does my financial aid work with my payment plan?
• If I drop or fail a course, how might that impact my financial aid?
After this session, you'll be prepared to connect your advisees with OTC's various financial aid resources.
