Attend a one-on-one session designed to build your confidence as an advisor! Your session will be customized to whatever advising needs you have. • Where can I go to learn more about my financial aid file?
• Do I need to be enrolled full-time to earn financial aid?
• How does my financial aid work with my payment plan?
• If I drop or fail a course, how might that impact my financial aid?

In this session you'll learn about OTC's academic standing policy, the multiple impacts of a student's grade point average, and assisting your advisees in developing achievable education plans. At the end of this session, you'll be prepared for the next time an advisee says "I need released from academic probation."
