To ensure we provide our students with a high quality educational experience, OTC is proud to adhere to the federal and industry standards for determining the minimum qualifications for our faculty in each area of study.

Institutions accredited by any of the following are considered “regionally accredited institution of higher education”:

  • Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges Western Association of Schools and Colleges
  • Higher Learning Commission
  • Middle States Commission on Higher Education
  • New England Commission of Higher Education
  • Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities
  • Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges
  • WASC Senior College and University Commission

Interested in teaching online?

In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed on this site, faculty who are assigned  to teach online must also complete OTC’s free online teaching certification course,  ONL-101: Introduction to Online Teaching and Learning, at least one semester in advance of a new online teaching assignment.

NOTE: this course is only available to current OTC faculty, it is not available to individuals who have not yet been approved to teach and assigned a course.

  • Copies of all applicable Academic Transcripts*
  • A current resume
  • Copies of all applicable Certifications of Licensures*
  • A cover letter
